CUMI PINDANG (boiled squid)

Ingredients :
500 gr squid, wash
3 tablespoons cooking oil
5 onions, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
2 cm ginger, thinly sliced
3 cm turmeric, thinly sliced
3 lime leaves
10 cayenne
1 tomato, cut into pieces
1 tablespoon brown sugar
150 ml water
salt as needed




How to make :

  • Heat oil and saute onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric, until fragrant.
  • Enter the squid, stir until it changes color.
  • Add lime leaves, water, salt, sugar. Cook until boiling.
  • Give tomatoes and cayenne pepper. Mix well and cook until done.
  • Ready to serve.
